High blood pressure (hypertension) affects 1 in 3 adults in the UK. If left untreated it can cause heart problems, strokes and damage to vital organs. Therefore, it’s crucial to be aware of the risks and how you can reduce them. That’s where we can help, why not visit us and have one of our trained pharmacy staff members check your blood pressure for free. Patients eligible for this service: • If you are aged 40 years or older and you do not currently have a diagnosis of hypertension • If you are under 40 and have a recognised family history of hypertension* • If you have been referred by your GP for the measurement of blood pressure *This is at the healthcare professional's discretion If you require the 24 hour blood pressure monitoring this will be discussed with you & booked in.
