Emergency contraception can stop you becoming pregnant if you’ve had sex without using contraception, or if you think your contraception might have failed. There are two types of emergency contraceptive pill: Levonorgestrel, which must be taken within three days (72 hours) of having unprotected sex EllaOne, which must be taken within five days (120 hours) of unprotected sex The Pharmacist will make a decision as to which type of oral emergency contraception would be clinically appropriate. You can also order the morning after pill for future use, so you can have it on hand just in case you need it. Emergency Contraception is Free of Charge.
